Plein aire with the Alabama group yesterday

Went painting out in this heat yesterday with Melanie Morris and a few other friends.

Butchart Garden Path

This is a 16x20 oil painted from a Butchart Gardens series. What a magnificient place. Well worth the entry fee. If you are ever in Victoria, British Columbia don't miss these gardens. If you got my Christmas card, this was the place.

Reily's Fountain

This is the piece I did plein air with this group years ago. It sold in Energen and I actually wish I had it back. I will just have to go to the governor's backyard and paint another one.

Cabs Lit by Times Square

Another Acrylic 16x20 headed for the Energen Show in Birmingham, Al. This picture was taken while traveling to Nova Scotia for a cruise where I got my Peggy's Cove series started.

I traved twice to New York City this past year. My daughter Jill and her husband live there now and
our expecting our first grandchild.

These two are finally pregnant! Jill and Jeff are expecting in August.

Peggy's Cove, Halifax

Last summer John and I went to Halifax and rented a car. We had a great day of taking pictures and wound up at Peggy's Cove. I now know how famous it is, but at the time I just thought, how picturesque.
